In this part III class, you will use the techniques learned from part I combined knowledge of music notation & time signature from part II, to collaborate with your peers on a melody reveal project.
In this part II class, you will use the techniques learned from part I combined with learning how to read sheet music, understand note durations, and combining sheet music & tablature together to create the full picture.
In this class, we review the chords, chord transitions, and strumming that we've covered in our past classes. We take turns leading the full songs just like a real jam! Remember, it's ok not to sing!
Crystal leads a full run-through of the songs, combining all elements learned in the previous classes. We will do each song with a simple strum and then add a strum pattern that we discussed in Strum Sessions.
In this part I class, you will begin to learn fingerpicking techniques, how to read tablature, and develop a practice that will build strength and dexterity in your hands and fingers.
In this class, we review the chords and chord transitions we covered in our last class. Then we'll use the 32 ukulele strums sheet to discuss strum patterns and various ways we can use them to spice up our playing.

This workshop is designed by Crystal Murphy to give you a simple understanding of exactly what is happening when you push down those frets. We start at the beginning of learning what notes ARE all the way to how YOU can find the notes anywhere on the fretboard!
You will also receive a fretboard poster that you can fill out and keep as a visual reference.
