Samba Shakers with 2 mini water bottles

STEP 1. Drink the water! It’s good for you! Let dry overnight.

STEP 2. Using a filler of your choice, measure and put aside 1/4 c. We used bright, colorful filler: multi-color beads, sequins, paper dots, and little pom poms.

STEP 3. Measure 2 Tbsp of filling into each bottle

STEP 4. Mark 2 lines on the toilet paper roll, dividing it into 3 sections. Cut along the lines. If you have a wine cork at home, you can skip steps 4 & 5.

STEP 5. Layer the 3 pieces and roll them tightly. The cardboard roll acts as a stopper between the 2 bottles so the filling stays equal on both sides and stays evenly weighted.

STEP 6. Place the rolled cardboard halfway into the opening of one bottle, then carefully join the 2 bottles together with the roll in the middle. The cardboard roll acts as a stopper between the 2 bottles so the filling stays equal on both sides and stays evenly weighted. It also provides extra strength at the joint.

STEP 7. Using hot glue, generously spread glue between the 2 bottles and push together. Let dry.
